EXCITING NEWS!

Saturday, 26 July 2014

Image from Tuula

I have some exciting news to share with you all! In the months of December 2014 and January 2015 I will be embarking on a vacation to Cancun, Mexico and Las Vegas, America!

I was told the exciting news about 4 months ago while my family and myself were preparing a cruise  for New Years and my birthday to Vanuatu, Fiji and New Caledonia. My parents came home to say that they had some news for us, my grandparents called them saying they are going to Cancun on a house exchange and well they wanted us to come along. Needless to say my sister and I started screaming out of sheer excitement and the planning got under way!

The flights are booked and the dates are set. As I sit here typing I am staring at three and I must say incredibly large suitcases that we purchased, that are making my already incredibly large amount of Wanderlust that bubbles inside me every minute of the day grow rapidly. I will be leaving on the 13th of December which so happens to be my last day of my first year of University. Flying from Brisbane to Los Angeles and than to Cancun. Cancun will see me celebrating Christmas, New Years and my 21st, before heading to Las Vegas to experience the Grand Canyon and the bright lights of the strip.

I can't begin to describe how excited I am to be traveling again this year even though I did a very huge and truly remarkable trip to Europe last year. I set myself a goal to travel every year and I truly hope that is the case. All of you of course will be along for the ride as I plan on doing travel posts on Wearing Wanderust as well as vlogs and videos of my experiences on my YouTube channel. I love to share all the details of what I have experienced as I love travelling and also capturing the moments as well as writing about it. I hope that after my graduation from University that I will become a successful travel blogger and journalist (a girl can dream!)

So if you have been to Cancun or Las Vegas and you believe I should go somewhere or try something please share your experience with me by commenting! Also if you know of any amazing cameras as I am planning on getting a very good one in order to capture the moments from my future trips!

Thanks for reading and sorry for being so MIA!

WEARING WANDERLUST ON INSTAGRAM

Thursday, 29 May 2014

Hi to all my lovely followers!
From university life to working and not much else in between, I have managed to take some pictures of my daily life and post them on a little insider look into my daily antics on my Instagram page. I actually can not believe how quickly this year has gone, we are in the final days of May and it will already be at the half way point of 2014. It only feels like yesterday that we were reigning in the new year through celebratory drinks and yelling happy new year at the top of our voices. I know for me thinking it is so close to the 6th month of this year brings a sudden dreaded feeling along with it, a sense of have I actually accomplished anything or to the wow things have changed. A lot has changed for me through starting University and doing something I throughly enjoy there, meeting new people, starting a new job and becoming essentially happier with myself and my life as a whole. With the half way point of 2014 looming around the corner, instead of thinking of the things you have not achieved look at the things you wish to achieve for the remainder of this year and set goals in which you can tick of the achieved list.

The above pictures are some of my most liked pictures throughout the past few months, just displaying my style and life in general. The two gorgeous sunset pictures were taken at my second home being the Gold Coast. Feel free to follow my Instagram
account for constant updates of what I am up to!

I want to apologise for being so incredibly inactive over the past few months, as I stated I have been SO busy with work and Uni. I hope though that it will soon change as I have had a burst of inspiration which I am determined to feed straight into this blog.  I have some exciting news to announce shortly (in regards to traveling) and some new posts/ideas in the works for Wearing Wanderlust. I hope you are liking the new theme as well!

NEW IN: MICHAEL KORS GOLD CAMILLE THREE HAND GLITZ WATCH

Friday, 10 January 2014

Firstly before I start discussing the true magnificence that is this watch, I want to say that I hope
you all had a lovely New years and that thus far 2014 has been incredible for each
and everyone of you and it just gets even better from here on. Secondly I want to apologise
for being extremely inactive, I promise that will change as I adjust to my new routine.

As some of you know it was my birthday on the 6th of January (and also my first day of University)
I have been scrolling through the pages of the Michael Kors website for  the past 8 months,
an incredibly rough guess for watches and basically everything.  Lets face it my favourite
hobby is scrolling through an endless amount of pages creating wish lists as long
as my body (even longer as I am short) of things I basically can't afford or are that j'adore
worthy that I stare for an innumerable amount of hours at said product -
And that is exactly what I did with the above watch.

This breathtaking Michael Kors mid-size Golden Stainless steel Camille Three hand glitz watch that is encrusted with golden pave crystals, a light champagne dial with tonal accents compliment it making it even more dazzling then imagined. I received this beauty for my birthday on Monday and I can say with 100% assurance that when I opened that little black leather box and saw it staring back I sighed, put my hand to my mouth in shock and I am pretty sure I stopped breathing. It now is one of my most prized possessions, that I can not help but stare at with lustful eyes while it adorns my wrist.

TRIANGL "COCO MOONBEAMS"

Monday, 7 October 2013

With a bra-kini style top in a eye popping neon yellow with a contrasting black mesh overlay and completely jaw dropping metallic silver Neoprene bottoms - What more could you ask for in a bikini!? I will openly admit that I am 100% biased, I have been in love with Triangl bikinis ever since I laid my eyes upon them and after my first purchase of the more traditional style bikini I was officially hooked and not turning back from this bikinitastic path! The "Ollie" bikini as Triangl calls it is an updated version of their signature triangle shaped bikini, the fantastic bra-kini style top features fixed shoulder and back straps making it super comfortable and ultra flattering. This to die for bikini set is finished with those futuristic metallic silver Neoprene bottoms that have you not wanting to cover up due to the fact that they need to be seen!

I know I will be buying more of the "Ollie" bikini in the various colours that they have been designed in - A great price, ultra comfortable, super sexy, flattering to the body and an amazing company it has me going back and back for more!

MY SYDNEY HAUL PHOTO AND VIDEO

Saturday, 24 August 2013

This time last week I would have been strolling around the CBD of Sydney doing one of the things that I believe I do best - Shop! *Sighs* I went down to Sydney with the idea of buying something fabulous and in my eyes I did just that! Oh how I wish I was there in this very moment, shopping and taking in the surrounds but sadly I am instead sitting on my bed in Brisbane, taking in the crystal blue skies that appear outside my window and thinking of far away destinations of ideas for future post and video ideas! So here you are, the purchases from my way to short trip to Sydney. Go and take a look at my SYDNEY PHOTO AND VIDEO DIARY!

SYDNEY PHOTO AND VIDEO DIARY

Friday, 23 August 2013

Up nice and early on Saturday morning and I mean early 3:30am early *sighs* to board the plane waiting for me at the Gold Coast airport. I think if I didn't know a plane was waiting for me I wouldn't have been as eager to jump straight out to bed and get ready. The sky a light shade of blue with wispy clouds that the plane danced through welcomed us into the sky for a incredibly short plane ride (a walk in the park compared to my Brisbane to London adventure) An hour and a half later the sight of the Sydney harbour bridge and the Opera House stood out against the royal blue backdrop the harbour and Circular Quay. An overwhelming feeling swept over me, that indescribable sense of arriving at a destination and it is now time to explore and find all the hidden gems within it; True wanderlust I say!

LONDON PHOTO AND VIDEO DIARY

Wednesday, 14 August 2013

Coming to terms with the fact that is was indeed the last place on my trip before heading home was not only incredibly heart breaking but also a whole range of excitement and sheer joy. I have always loved London and the English culture so finally being there and experiencing what this amazing city has to offer was by far the best way to end the trip. Of course there is no other way to get around London then by a double decker bus - The reflection of the bus dancing through the windows of the Georgian style houses, looking up from the top story of the bus to see the sky stretching beyond the horizon and feeling completely free and seeing the red telephone boxes dotting the sides of the streets just adding to the feeling that I am where I am. Seeing the London Eye for the first time and only sighing or the Big Ben and simply saying wow under your breathe. To be honest seeing the sights and just walking around the streets of this breathtaking city I felt like I belonged and I wanted to chain myself inside a room in the Ritz so I could soak up all that London has to offer for the rest of my existence.
