High Glam in Vogue Germany June 2013

Tuesday, 21 May 2013

Via visualoptimism
I just had to share these stunning photos from the June issue of Vogue Germany lensed by Alexi Lubomirski and styled by the talented Christiane Arp. Of course the whole ambience of this editorial is high glam,  a combination of sophistication and sexy all at the same time is exactly what this editorial is all about - To be honest it has me wanting to take a very glamourous holiday to an overly extravagant and exotic location. Queue the private jet and suitcase packed full of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel and Louboutins galore! A floor length silk dress for the evening, a Dolce & Gabbana number to stroll the streets of lets say Monaco during the day *hello Mediterranean sun calls for a little crop top and skirt ensemble!* and we can't forget the outings to the casino in flowing gowns and the lunches by the seaside in draped skirts, crisp crops and bling galore. Sounds like a dream holiday to me!

Air Time - Vogue Australia May 2013

Wednesday, 17 April 2013

The swinging sixties where bee hives or chignons were seen, the hems of skirts rose to lengths that were never dared to be tried before and the Beatles were on repeat. Style icons were in the form of Twiggy and Audrey Hepburn, people went to the cinema to see such classics as Breakfast at Tiffany's and The Sound of Music. A decade where the world also saw changes in racism and sexism. It was no doubly a decade that I would have loved to live in and this editorial in Vogue Australia May 2013 "Air Time" truly sent me through the air of time and landed me in the glorious decade of the 60's.
