McCall not only conveyed her inspirations thoughtfully and precisely, she also mixed this season key trends within this gorgeously cohesive collection - From the likes of sheer fabrics, oversized shapes, pleating, the hue of the moment navy, metallic tweed, flares, trumpet skirts, crop tops and frills. Not only was the collection bursting at the seams with the latest trends but the key looks were utterly jaw dropping. Navy and white cut work illustrated leather shell tops, sheer sunray pleated mini dresses that gracefully fell from the waist, maxi dresses with oversized appliqués, shorts and tunic tops detailed with frills and cut work bodices. Japanese organza and silk was worked in ways that looked like a magician waved a magic wand over the material - Used to create a lightness to the sculptural pieces and transparent layers acted like pretty outer shells - Then balanced with elusive beading or solid luxurious leather. Another stand out was the fluctuation between graphics from the overly pretty to the darker hues that lines were highlighted in contrasting shades of grey, navy, white and orange.
I am completely in love with everything about this collection - The array of colours, silk and organza galore, leather cut outs, oversized proportions, frills, flirty mini dresses, metallic tweed, oh so pretty graphic prints, sheer fabrics, crop tops, the stacks of rings sitting like armour on the models fingers, the fresh face makeup with a burst of colour via the lashes and I can not forget those metallic gold or silver wedges in snakeskin. By far my favourite of the MBFWA so far!

It is the definition of perfection! I would be one happy girl if it all appeared in my wardrobe!
